About Baileydale Labradors

Labradors have been part of our lives growing up and once married we welcomed Chester, a yellow dog into our home. He was quickly followed by Coco, a chocolate dog, then a chocolate bitch Pepsi, who went on to become our foundation bitch.

A mutual friend introduced us to Mrs Peggy Rae, of Cornlands Labradors, who encouraged us to show after having a super litter sired by Rocheby Royal Blue Of Cornlands. We were soon bitten by the bug and have now been showing our dogs for some twenty five years. Over that time we are proud of our achievements which include making up a full Champion and three Show Champions. CH Bilbo Baggins by Baileydale JW ShCM was a Kennel Club Junior Warrant Competition Finalist and competed in the big ring at Crufts 2011, he was also East Anglian Reserve Top Dog 2013. His son, INT CH Baileydale Parker ShCM, East Anglian Top Puppy 2011. We have had numerous CC, RCC, Junior Warrant and Show Certificate Of Merit winners. 

We are proud to be associated with Canine Partners For Independence, and Dogs For Good, who have used our dogs in their breeding programmes. Our puppies are regularly chosen to enter training to become future assistance dogs.

Andy is a championship show judge and is approved to award Challenge Certificates in the breed. 

We are Kennel Club Assured Breeders and hold a Colchester Council 5* licence.

All our dogs are tested under the BVA/AKC schemes. SH CH Carromer Jack Flash To Baileydale JW, BEL JNR CH, Baileydale Puff Daddy JW, Rumhill Bertie Wooster by Baileydale JW, and Baileydale Rocket Man JW are available at stud to suitably tested bitches.
